• Shivaji's father was all along i AURANGJEB's army .. even while he was rebelling ... so shivaji was no small person in status he was son of samant raja .....
• ambition to establish a kingdom of own .. made them use hindu muslim divide ..
• AUrangzeb had captured SHIVAJI's daughter in law and raised his grandson safely .... protect the son of enemy .. this neeti was well executed by AUrangzeb ... this is something very strange .... history doesnt speak ... how did marathas accept a KING born and brought up in enemy camp

• say RANI LAXMIBAI .. till last moment ir a day before war ... she was trying to convince british pfficers that she was not with rebels ... but then army of uprising distributed brochures all over the city caliming RANI was with them ,, the misuderstanding saw british send officers to her fort .. she had to fight them without preparation and died ...
• had she determined from the begining that she must fight perhaps 1857 would have been a day of independence for INDIA
