Guru Seve

  • Some important points to be noted in the rayar mhaima gaana by vadeendraru is even though Teekacharya has written commentarries ... MANY scholars still interpreted certain tenets wrongly and there were allegations too that it may contain some defects .. NOW it is of general experience that we take scholars on face value .. such and such scholar said so .. Books translations are mainly scholars view point .. SOme attemt NAIVELY to interprete a vedic sentence all by themselves .. and try to present meanings .. all thee leads to misinterpretation and wrong knwoledge .. sometimes not acceptable to original author as well ...
  • It is only with the help of RAYARU one can cleanly disect such defcetive occurences and not by self efforts
  • three beautiful facts have come to highlight .. one ... VADEENDRA TEERTHA IS NO SMALL SCHOLAR just look at the description he has resorted it so difficult to unfurl and yet so easy to understand
  • BUt even VADEENDRA teertharu has raised his hands when it comes to doing hard adhyayana he say why do all this grind when I can have an easy way ... NOW this cannot be brushed aside as something written out of affection GYANIS YATIS DONT LIE
  • NOW VADEENDARU might have said so in ecstasy lets believe it The vyakhyan karas DHERENDRA TEERTHA and VASUDHENDRA teertharu have gone one step ahead and said without RAYARU no relief

THEN VADEENDRA would have been doing GURUGUNASTAVAN of UPENDRA TEERTHARU ... BT INSTEAD ,, VADEENDRARU is praising RAYARU who had already taken BRUNDAVANA even before he took PEETHA ... IS THERE A LOGIC HERE ?

  • then a discussion broke up with elderly scholar puitching in saying what this japa and alll ,.. sadhana madbeku ri ... adhyayana madabeku .. yeshtu saari parayana madiri sarvamoola grantha
  • hari in normal course in pre rayaru era I would have agreed to your statement
  • BUT RAYARU is special .. many stalwarts have said this demonstarted this .. the times have changed ... will be changing even more .. there will be no time shravana .. miseries will be too harsh ... so times up for such rigoruous routes .. so all greater yatis in rayaru have merged in him ... and all younger ones look upto him and have become sign boards leading to him ... THIS IS REALITY .. so only rayaru .. with this you get all purushartha and gyaana and vairgya and next steps .. remember all those who go to rayaru are no mean souls they all have done adhyayana in their past births all vedas might have been read by all of you in your previous births there is no necessity to repeat them .. you require DMA

  • now what the scholar had poorvagraha was japa is only for mitigation of navagraha dosha this dosha etc
  • BUt it was pointed out to him that JAPA is favourite kaalkshepa of those whose sadhan ahs completed ... he was taken aback
  • so JAPA is more peorful sadhana ..
  • is RAYAR JAPA a seva ?

  • when asked what happened .. he said prasaana manasu iddare adhyayana vidhyayana .. ee sansaar taap delli yelli ... where was the argument now ?

  • I said GRANTHA PARYANA MADI ... adu bittu beredu heli
  • enadru abhisheka madabahuda .. enadru teertha yatre ... japa homa
  • SO I suggested MANTRALAYA seva .. he achieved peace later
  • person said only if manas is swastha all adhyayana can happen if not how
  • how ca one do adhyayana in sansaar taapa

  • So adhyayana is not possible with misry laden mind .. THAT IS WHAT VADEEDNRA TEERTHARU IS SAYING WHEN HE SAYS ROGADI upadravaat ASIDDHAKAYA alpamati
  • BUT if prarabdha is full of misery then when to study ?
  • so brushing aside the words of GREAT YATI and saying SARVAMOOLA PATHA will give gyaana enough to know everything to be eligible for MOKSHA is not aright argument
  • it is laden with dosha .. of ahankara agyaana and alpanubhava
  • If loukika guru could remove disease tandra kaam moha and still put one in right path then their argument will hold
  • BUT this not to be seen in todays life .. and hence RAYARU

  • I had learnt jyotishya under my father ..and later after my father i had a void .. so i went to all i knew .. after little pariksha of my jyotishya tidbits eveyone said they are not going to teach me
  • Similarly I had a fad of taking mantras from yatis .. but believe none of the yatis gave me mantras
  • while they would give it to students , office goers but when i would go they would look and say not now
  • I went to all yatis in disguise ..
  • with phate purane kapade unshaved after many days of punashcharana
  • but my day never came
  • FInally One yati asked me to come in wet clothes early in the morning and exatly sit while RAAM pooja was going on ..
  • after the pooja he did abhisheka to me and asked do you take me as guru
  • I said YES .. then he said .. then i will have to teach you ... then he said .. PRATYAXA ANUMAA AGAMA means of knwoledge ... and he stopped suddenly ..
  • he took a deep breath and then looked me very sternly .. and said then smilingly said rest all you know .. you can GO
  • So how do I do adhyayana ?

  • then i went to one uchhca bramhana and said you are my vidya guru .. teach me .. he taught me many secret things but when it came to bramha sutra and bhasya .. he said ivella nimage tilade ide

  • yes I had upadesha of the granthas in childhood by a great scholar .. but then i was six years old
  • FROM then till today only RAYARU HAS TAUGHT ME
  • MANY YEARS later I had a doubt .. I went to yati and asked him ... HE SAID I DONT KNOW >. while his sincerety and honesty was quiet surprising .. BUT HE SAID YOU WILL NOT GE ANSWE TO THIS if I DONT KNOW NOBODY KNOWS EITHER

  • the beauty with rayaru is he makes you do that ie follow madhwa sampradaya ..
  • I was once reguarly going to jogeshwari mutt
  • there one bhajan mandali was there which used to sing songs which would mean ALL ARE ONE
  • and the archaka was quietly watching with hung head .. the amndali would sing for an hour
  • and then disburse .. mostly aged people and very sad in disposition
  • one day I had a very important meeting in malad .. and i ha one hour time left so i decided why not take one darshan of rayaru
  • again the same madali and again same song .. all are one ..
  • this time I got little wild .. first I took to task the archaka .. man how are you allowing this .. HE says if i say something then they will stop coming who will come to mutt
  • He said complain to ,management ..now this archaka was no simple one he was very educated he had done sudha patha also ..
  • managment ie manager and some others said why bother they will meet their fate ... what is our nimitta
  • SO finally i asked the elderly man who was singing the song as to why he is singing this song
  • he said he had leant them so he is reciting them ..
  • I told him dear sir ... how many years you are doing this .. he said one year ... did you get any good result till date .. He said no
  • my desires are yet to be fulfilled
  • i told dear sir , if you stand before a KING and sing aye MAN you are odinary You are not KING .. look this man by your side he is alos king .. the one standing outside he is also king ..... WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT
  • HE said KING WILL PUNISH ME
  • BUT what was your motive to sing before the KING
  • HE said to get rewarded
  • THEN that means you will not get rewarded if you do something which your benfcatory does not LIke ..
  • he said yes ..
  • THEN I SAID LOOK RAYARU SAYS THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND HE IS VISHNU .. and HE GIVES RESULTS TO ONLY THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM AND HIS KING VISHNU

  • and DEar sir . YOU ARE SINGING F WHOLE YEAR >>> VISHNU IS NOT GOD HE IS ALSO GOD THAT FELLOW IS GOD THIS MAN IS GOD ALL RE GOD ALL IS ONE ,... how will you get result
  • he said Oh AM I SINGING THAT
  • I said yes . then he said nobody told me here for one year .. people shoudl tell NO .. why are bramhanas there to teach ... you all have deprived me of one year

  • Then he tirned to me said what shoudl we sing .. then ARCHAKA came into charge and said si leave it to me i will teach them ..
  • from then on the ASURA MANDALI became nija bhajanmandali
  • HOW this happened RAYARU's grace ?
  • RAYARU teaches people right path !
  • he doesnt leave anyone as orphan
  • and then instantly in few days the old man got his desire ..
  • RAYARU took one year long service though defective and gave him instant result by giving him right knowledge
  • THAT WAS BECAUSE ARCHAKA ALSO BELONGED TO THE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO BELIEVED IN ADHYAYANA ONLY AS SADHAN MARGA so he was indifferent
  • later this archaka happened to come to delhi with a group of people .. i was on honeymoon trip to shimla
  • i happened to stay for a day in delhi so went visiting to mutt
  • my wife insisted before going to himalayas .. we must complete tritiya vrat
  • but archaka at delhi mutt became wild how can one do vrats niyamas in mutt a short notice
  • the manager of mutt was one whom i had donated books while he was studying .. he remebered me i did not ..
  • he immediately asked archaka to arrange even if it short notice .. this visting boy from mumbai recognised me and gave a hearty meals in the alankara pankti .. and was again and again warning archak to do things properly ..
  • next day was ganesh chaturthi .. my wife insisted on going to mathure .. on the way taxi fellow took us to tak mahal .. and what a prarabdha .. just as looking taj maha moon arise by the side and my wife said what a beautuflu moon ,.. I said chaturthi moon definitely i will have apavada this year
  • and we hurried to mathura to have krishna darshan ..and recited the parihaar mantra ...
  • that year went with full of allegations
  • but no collateral damage
  • so moral of the story is people change with time
  • rayru changes them
  • best way to do rayar seva is MAHIMA GAANA know his greatness and sing about it ... instant results will come

  • this KALPAVRUKSHA also gives gyana as bonus

  • aur sweet disha kahyo phir kahoge yeh kya patloon kahan .. hum toh bhaiyya vaiagya ke langot me hi mast hain ab janee do na kahe ki duniyadaari aur kahe ka lafda

  • proof of the pudding is in eating ...[ sanjaava bhaiyya take topic which you have not yet done adhyayan ... do rayar seva in the form of japa , gaana [ songs ] , namaskaara seva ... and see if you get gyaana of that topic prior to adhyayana ... the matter is clear .. if not ... if you ahve to read and only learn it ... then perhaps this type of seva is not for you ! if there is real jignyasa in knowing whether what VADEENDRARU is proposing is right or not .. or just as sone has put it as worth ignoring .... then one must undertake the pain to verify .. this way discussing for lengthy hours will not bring any conclusion ..... BUT REMEMBER VIJAYDASARU GAVE A FOOL GYANA BY PLACING HIS PALM ON HIM ... JUST TO SHOW A ADHYAYAN PRIYA SCHOLAR THAT GYAANA CAN BE HAD IN EASIER WAYS TOO >< WHAT CANNOT BE HAD IS GURUANUGRAHA
  • second most important point that you have missed in your adhyayana [ perhaps you have not done adhyayana of how a bramhacharya ashram is started ] .. is to get guruupadesha .. one goes to guru with samit in hands [ iam sure you ahve not gone to your guru with smait in hand ] ... and then follows personal seva to guru .. guru does not put you on upadesha class from day one .,. after many days guruseva ., personal seva [ how please see smriti granthas .. sorry do adhyayana of smrite granthas under able guru ] ....then guru decides the course that has to be taken to teach the shshya according to his yogyata some learn in days some in months some in years ... some decades .....there are examples in smriti where some shishyas leave gurukul but some are not allowed to leave
  • guru seva precedes adhyayana is known ony if one has done guru seva personally .. have you brought water in gurus house have you collected bhiksha for a guru on any given day ... please let me know ?

  • ji, It is our traditional practice of vandana that our gurus compose stotraas on their gurus. It is not "pradarshana" because they have really benefitted from such gnanis. But, your theory of exclusion is not in anyone's mind. If at all one can understand our tatvavada by placing his hand, Sri Vijayadasaru himself would not never adored Sri Tikarayaru in his devaranamas and such things only There are many such examples. Guru Anugraha is a precious thing and one has to make oneself eligible for that.

  • PEOPLE ADVOCATING ADHYAYANA [ not just sanjeeva i dont blame them they are prtirupas of the system .. i am infcat indebted to kk and sanjeeva for raking up these issues ... if not discussed here where it will be .. and the zeal with which sanjeeva and shanmukha defend their stance gives cope to go deeper in smritis and shastras to get right pramaana .. so it is appreciable ,... offense i dont take in their words ...if they feel offended by my words i apoligise ] .... BUT system today has taken liberties .. with the way a vidya is imparted
  • with liberalises system .. with fast track teaching process .. and lack of systemetised learning [ there is no time either ] if one claims that self study or liberalised study has given right knowledge .. it is debatable
