- Sir.. on a related note, we come across many incidents in Ramayana,Mahabharatha,Puranas, where there will be phala shruthi mentioned for certain chapters.. What is the secret behind getting the phala shruthi of these chapters ? How should we approach them ? Do we have to read the incident in sanskrit and understand ? Or does it happen by reading translations too ? How does this work ?

- one must make a sankalpa of reading x number of chapter ... read first chapter ... complete the x number of chapters and end with last chapter .
- for example.. if we are reading the first 2 chapters of Ayodhya kaanda, then should we take sankalpa and read the first chapter of Ramayan + 2 chapters of Ayodhya kaanda + last chapter of Ramayana
